Northwood W.I. Report

Although August is usually a quiet month in the W.I., Northwood have been very busy.
.
Firstly with a visit to Havenstreet Railway with lunch and a ride on the Steam Train.
We also had a Gazebo at the Northwood Village Produce Show to promote us, then a Programme Meeting the following week, and a week later we held a Scarf Painting day with lunch and the following week a Committee meeting. Phew!!!
.
Our September meeting was very well supported. Anne Evans from Brading Roman Villa gave us a talk on the Roman era with some artefacts she brought with her.
.
Northwood W.I. have a lot of things coming up, with the Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning on Friday 28th September 10am to 12 noon, a Table Top Sale on Saturday 29th September and a Lunch and Games on Thursday 11th October.
