Clerk to the Council
An ordinary meeting of Northwood Parish Council, to be held in the School Hall at Northwood Primary School on Tuesday, 5 March 2013 commencing at 6.30pm.
The meeting of the Parish Council will commence immediately after the Public Forum, which will begin at 6.30 pm for the duration of 15 minutes, if necessary. This provides an opportunity for any member of the public to ask questions of members of the Parish Council.
AGENDA
1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests and Requests for Dispensations on items forming the agenda
3. To receive a report by the Local Safety Neighbourhood Officer, plus an opportunity to discuss local policing priorities
4. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the previous meeting of the Parish Council held on 5 February 2013 (Paper A)
5. To receive any matters arising on the Minutes, not requiring a resolution
6. To welcome a member of the IW Council’s Policy and Conservation team to discuss proposals on changes to the Medina Valley Key Regeneration Area Settlement Boundary (Paper B – extract from the meeting of Gurnard Parish Council’s Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group refers)
7. Town and Country Planning
a. To consider any applications received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at

b. To note the decisions taken by the Local Planning Authority since the last meeting of the Parish Council
i. TCP/01767/12 406 Newport Road, Northwood – Conditional Planning Permission granted for demolition of porch, alterations, single storey rear extension to provide living room, enlargement of roof to provide additional living accommodation within roofspace to include Juliet balcony to the rear; replacement porch, decking; dormer window on side elevation
ii. AGN/13980/H Medham Farm, Medham Farm Lane, Cowes – Agricultural Prior Notification for open fronted storage building

Finance
i. To receive the interim budget statement to the end of February 2013 and the bank reconciliation with Statement No 54 (Paper H)

iii. To approve for the clerk to undertake the collation of all the information in the Parish Plan surveys and to be paid for doing so outside of her normal contracted hours
iv. To consider the application for grant funding from the Jubilee Sailing Trust (Paper I)

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.
It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
