NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

At our April Residents’ Event, we had a very interesting talk by Paul Holmes from the Cowes Chiropractic Clinic. He gave us some ideas on how to keep ourselves active without too much stress and to eat healthily.
In May, we had a visit from a staff member from the Owl & Monkey Haven. He gave a very enjoyable talk on owls. He also brought with him one of the Haven residents.
At our June Residents’ Event, a talk will be given by one of the Trading Standards team.

NORTHWOOD VILLAGE PRODUCE ASSOCIATION

NVPA will be holding its 68th Annual Show on Saturday 17th August 2013 in the W.I. Hall, Northwood starting at 2.00pm.

The classes include:

FRUIT AND VEGETABLES

FLORAL

COOKERY

PRESERVES

HANDICRAFTS

CHILDREN’S CLASSES.

There are spaces available for any stallholders in the grounds.
