At our last Residents’ Event, we had a very enjoyable talk by Bob Hallam on how to exercise without getting out of our chairs. It was great fun when he got everyone to try them. He handed out some notes showing us how they work your muscles and body in general and with diets ideas. Everyone enjoyed his presentation.

At the last meeting of the Northwood Community Partnership, two members of the Police Safer Neighbourhood team joined us. They informed us about the Speed Watch checks that have taken place within the village. They are very grateful for the support of local residents in this venture. A reminder was given regarding keeping your doors, windows, garden sheds and cars locked.

The Chairman and members of the Partnership are saddened at the recent passing of a very dear ‘Northwood Gnome’, Harry Mundell. He will be greatly missed. Our condolences go to Audrey and Harry’s family.
