NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

In our last report, we mentioned about the support given to the Police Safer Neighbourhood Team, by Residents, in the Speed Watch venture. At February’s Residents’ Event, we had a very informative talk and demonstration from 2 members of the Speed Watch team. They reported that in the areas they were observing a noticeable reduction in speed has been recorded. Regular speed watches will continue to be carried out within the village. If any Resident is interested to take part and assist the Police, please contact me (details above) and I will pass on your details to the Safer Neighbourhood Team.

Congratulations go to Northwood Village Produce Association for winning the Carrot Trophy Quiz, against Gurnard Cottage Garden Club. It was a very close contest, which was enjoyed by all who participated. Thanks to Gurnard for their generous hospitality.
