NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

At the start of the afternoon, a minutes silence was held, to pay tribute to the life of Richard Dayton-Lewis who recently passed away. With his wife Pamela, he regularly attended our events. Our condolences were expressed to Pamela and the family at his funeral.
We had a very interesting talk from Mr John Pullen, who is a regular and keen supporter of the Community Partnership. He was reminiscing his many years serving as an Officer in the Isle of Wight Prison Service. We are very grateful of the time John gives, for the good of the Village and its Residents, despite his many other commitments, including Chair of the Island’s Neighbourhood Watch.

Our next Residents’ Event is on
WEDNESDAY 18th NOVEMBER 2015 at 2.30pm
in the W. I. Hall, Northwood.

We look forward to seeing regular residents and also new residents at these events. Please come along and join us for a friendly afternoon and meet new people.

The Community Partnership would welcome any resident who is interested in the wellbeing of the Village and would like to help us in keeping the Partnership going, to come along to our bi-monthly meetings. We do not ask for a big commitment but an hour or two per month. We would be very pleased to welcome you. Further information can be obtained from any of the people above.
