Newport Jazz Club – Jazz at the Apollo

A reprise of our incredibly successful concert of last November – a look back at the fabulous Norman Granz’s Jazz at the Philharmonic worldwide concerts, will take place on Sunday afternoon 21st February @ 3pm.

Again led by Bruce Adams (trumpet) the front line will also include Andy Urquhart (trumpet); Tony Woods (saxophone); and Tim Whitehead (saxophone) – all top professionals in their line. Since the latter three are all personal friends, this should make an exciting and entertaining jazz event. They will be ably supported by the NJC trio, Peter Trueman, Mike Whitehead and Bill Wills.
