Clerk to the Council
The Ordinary meeting of Northwood Parish Council to be held in the School Hall at Northwood Primary School, Wyatts Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 5 April 2016 commencing at 6.30 pm, for the transaction of the business as set out in the agenda below. The meeting of the Parish Council will commence immediately after the Public Forum, which will begin at 6.30 pm, for the duration of 15 minutes, if necessary. This provides an opportunity for any member of the public to ask questions of members of the Parish Council.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

AGENDA
1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence
2. Members Interests
To receive any declarations of Members’ interests and written requests for Dispensations on items forming the agenda
3. To receive a report on any local safety neighbourhood issues occurring since the last meeting held of the Parish Council
4. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the previous meeting of the Parish Council held on 1 March 2016 (Paper A)
5. To receive any matters arising on the Minutes, not requiring a resolution
6. To consider the update report regarding the one-off payment of £5k to be used for the benefit of the residents in Northwood (Paper B)
7. Memorandum of Understanding
i. To approve for the Chairman to sign the Memorandum of Understanding between the Parish Council and the Community Partnership (Paper C)
ii. To consider the necessary action required in order to bring the list of assets into a good condition
8. To consider arrangements so to undertake a Big Tidy Up event
9. To approve the finalised, updated proposed plan of the parish – Cllr Riddet
10. To consider signing the petition to government, calling on them to look again at the way the Island is funded (Paper D)
11. To consider the purchase of an HM Queen Elizabeth II 90th birthday commemorative medal, appropriate for school children (Paper E)
12. To consider the necessity of holding monthly meetings – Cllr Riddet
13. To note the letter from the Post Office Network Transformation Programme Director (Paper F)
14. IWALC – to note that as on 7 April, IWALC will be holding one of their regular meetings with the IW Council, they have requested details of any outstanding issues the Parish Council might have with the IW Council, which they would raise on councillors’ behalf.
15. To receive a report for information on Community Wellbeing (Paper G – to follow) Cllr J Nicholson

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.
It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
