NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

I hope you all had a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

.

In December we held our Annual Christmas Lunch at the New Holmwood Hotel. It was well attended and we had a very enjoyable lunch. In January we had a talk from Mr Ray Harrington Vale from the Footprint Trust regarding keeping warm in winter.

.

One of the flower troughs was in need of repair and a mysterious “Northwood Gnome” very kindly repaired it. We would like to thank you very much, whoever you may be.

.

Our next Residents Event is on Wednesday 15^th February 2017 at 2.30pm, in the Northwood W.I. Hall. We would be very pleased to see any new   Residents come and join us for a Social afternoon and meet old friends or make new ones.

.

With the weather being very cold at the moment, perhaps we need to think of our neighbours who may be unable to get out. If there is anyone who is vulnerable and in need of assistance, please advise the Safer Neighbourhood Police Team or Age UK.

The next Northwood Community Partnership Meeting is on Tuesday 14^th March 2017 at 7pm in the Travellers Joy, Pallance Road. All are welcome.
