UPDATE FROM NORTHWOOD CHURCH

Hello everyone
.
I wish to inform you that after much discussion, we have regrettably decided that Northwood church is once again closed for Sunday Worship and private prayer for the rest of February.
.
Even with COVID restrictions in place we were fearful that, with the new variant of the virus, and being together with a group of people for an hour, the risk is too high – It seems that much of the issues around the contamination of surfaces that were stressed in the first lockdown are no longer a priority, but breaching social distancing is the main factor and despite all efforts there are still times (as we enter, leave, whilst waiting for the service etc) when we naturally want to get closer to others to chat and we didn’t want to put any of you in that position of risk.

It is a decision that none of us have come to easily or that we have enjoyed making, but your safety is our priority. We will make a further decision nearer the end of the month to decide whether to open for services in March.
