WANTED: VOLUNTARY DRIVERS

Optio, the Island’s voluntary car scheme, urgently needs volunteer drivers in the Northwood and Cowes areas.

When volunteering with Optio you will:

choose to work as few (or as many) hours as you like
receive an expenses mileage rate (40p per mile)
make a difference to someone’s quality of life with every trip you make
meet new people and get out and about

Optio, is a membership scheme which provides a life line to many people who do not have a car and find it difficult to use public transport by coordinating their safe transportation from home to medical appointments, memory clubs, day centres or perhaps enabling them to visit a friend or loved one.
