NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

As stated in previous editions, our Residents Events are being well supported. The October event was entitled” Halloween Comes Early”. The tables were attired with spooky decorations and there was the pumpkin, lit up to complete the scene. Also there were even more spooky chocolates to be eaten. We had a talk by John Pullen on OPTIO, which is a car service run by volunteers.

At the last meeting of the Northwood Community Partnership, it was suggested a party be held to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. This is being pursued and further details will be published.

You may have noticed that the Village has been planted out with the autumn and winter plants. We hope that you all enjoy our village looking very pretty and welcoming.

Our next Residents Event will be held on
WEDNESDAY 16th November, 2011 at 2.30pm,
at the W. I. HALL, NORTHWOOD

As always, everyone is very welcome to attend, whatever your age, and, if you wish, please bring a guest. If you have any mobility problems and require transport, please telephone 01983 296020 or 01983 282242.

The next Northwood Community Partnership meeting will be held on 22nd November, 2011, at 7.45pm. All are welcome to attend. At this meeting, discussion will take place on the form that the party will take.
