President Elisabeth welcomed members to the meeting and sent good wishes to the members who are ill.
Correspondence, financial and hall reports were all given.
The next Ramble is at Newtown with Lunch at the Sportsmans Rest on the way home.
The Celebration walks between WIs to celebrate 90 years of the Isle of Wight County Federation will take place for us on the 5th May teaming up with Medham WI and hopefully meeting Gurnard Bay WI at the Portland Inn for Lunch.
The next Art and Craft is on the 28th April and there was a display of items being entered in the WI Challenge to be held at the ACM in Medina Theatre. Hopefully there will be an outing in August to a Mainland venue.
Mr Paul England from the Planetarium at Fort Victoria was our speaker. He gave a talk on the various planets in the Solar System.
Competition results – Best Garden Bloom -1st – Fay Bunday and for the decorated egg – joint first place Fay Bunday and Judeth Baker.
