Dear Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning Committee, to be held in the Northwood Primary School, Wyatts Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 19 April 2011 commencing at 6.30 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below.

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 15 February 2011 (Paper A – which were circulated and confirmed at the meeting of the Parish Council on 1 March 2011)
4. Town and Country Planning
a. To consider the following application received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at http://www.iwight.com/council/departments/planning/appsdip/MakingCommentsInfo.aspx

i. TCP/26375C 15 Nodes Road, Northwood – Single storey rear extension to existing bungalow to form kitchen/family room with associated alterations providing access to timber decked area (revised plans)(revised description)
ii. TCP/25625C 36 Coronation Avenue, Northwood – Demolition of conservatory Proposed single storey rear extension to form additional living accommodation (revised scheme)
iii. TCP/28535B 28 Pallance Road, Northwood – Alterations; single storey rear extension; conservatory; new roof to provide additional living accommodation within roof space

iv. TCP/30525 Robin Hill, Pallance Lane, Cowes, Isle Of Wight, PO318LT -Alterations and extension to increase height of outbuilding including new flat roof
v. AGN/10723/L Lower Luton Farm, Pallance Lane, Cowes, Isle Of Wight, PO31 8BX – Agricultural Prior notification for a polytunnel

i. TCP/30430 Unit 3A, Saunders Drive, Cowes, PO31 – Conditional Planning Permission for the continued use of premises as a Tattoo Studio
ii. TCP/07576/N Horseshoe Inn, 353 Newport Road, Northwood, PO31 8PL – Conditional Planning Permission for the replacement of planning permission (P/00247/08) – TCP/07576/M – alterations; single and two storey elevation to form restaurant area and toilet facilities on ground floor with function room, office and balcony on first floor) in order to extend the time limit for implementation
iii. TCP/26203/C Land at 34 Wyatts Lane, Northwood – Conditional Planning Permission
iv. TCP/30062/A Northwood County Primary School, Wyatts Lane, Northwood – Temporary Planning Permission for the siting of a double mobile classroom

c. Tree Preservation Order
To note the letter dated 12 April regarding Land North of Medham Farm, Medham Farm Lane, Cowes – 67 Green Lane, Northwood – Split Decision to refuse the felling of T2 Ash and to consent to the felling of T1 Ash, T3 Multi stemmed Horse Chestnut, T4 Ash and conditions attached.

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

The total time allowed for questions/representations by members of the public will not exceed ten minutes for any given item

It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
