The meeting of the Parish Council will commence immediately after the Public Forum, which will begin at 6.30 pm for the duration of 15 minutes, if necessary. This provides an opportunity for any member of the public to ask questions of members of the Parish Council.
AGENDA
1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To receive a report by the Local Safety Neighbourhood Officer, plus an opportunity to discuss local policing priorities
4. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the previous meeting of the Parish Council held on 29 May 2012 (Paper A)
5. To receive any matters arising on the Minutes, not requiring a resolution
6. Town and Country Planning
To note the decisions taken by the Local Planning Authority since the last meeting of the Parish Council:
TCP/31004 250 Newport Road, Cowes, Isle Of Wight, PO318PE – Conditional Planning Permission for a Single storey rear extension to provide dining room and bedroom and ground floor with additional living accommodation within roofspace
7. To consider and approve the draft Code of Conduct produced by the IW Council, together with the outline of a proposed new complaint process and the revised Register of Interests (Papers B1, B2 and B3)
8. To consider the letter from the IW Council regarding Settlement Boundaries and Local Green Gaps within the Medina Valley (Paper C)
9. To consider the letter from the IW Council regarding Medina Valley Employment and Water Access Study (Paper D)
10. To consider the report regarding seating along the cycletrack – Cllr Fuller (Paper E – to follow)
11. To consider the response of Cllr E Giles in response to concerns/questions raised regarding the new waste recycling proposals (Paper F)
12. To consider the letter to the IW Council from a local resident, regarding the implementation of double yellow lines opposite Wyatts Close (Paper G)
13. To consider the email forwarded by the IW Sports Council – Cllr J Ferris (Paper H)
14. To receive an update on the meeting with Mr Peter Haywood, to consider the unresolved concerns regarding road closures and roadworks held by councillors
15. To receive progress reports for information from Working Party leads

16. To receive the report for information of Cllr R Mazillius, the IWC Ward Member for Cowes South and Northwood (Paper J – to follow)

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.
It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
