You are hereby summoned to attend an ordinary meeting of Northwood Parish Council, to be held at WI Hall, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 3 November 2009 commencing at 7.45 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

The meeting of the Parish Council will commence immediately after the Public Forum, which will begin at 7.45 pm for the duration of 15 minutes, if necessary. This provides an opportunity for any member of the public to ask questions of members of the Parish Council.
AGENDA
1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the ordinary meeting of the Parish Council held on 6 October 2009 (Paper A)
4. To receive any matters arising on the Minutes, not requiring a resolution
5. To receive a report by the Local Safety Neighbourhood Officer, plus an opportunity to discuss local policing priorities
6. To receive a report from Jacqui Darby, the Environment and Neighbourhood Officer for Northwood (Paper B)
7. Town and Country Planning
a. To approve the Minutes of the meeting of the Planning Committee held on 20 October (Paper C – to follow)
b. To consider any applications received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at
http://www.iwight.com/council/departments/planning/appsdip/MakingCommentsInfo.aspx
c. To note any decisions taken by the IW Council since the last meeting of the Parish Council
8. To receive any update on the decision by the IW Council to withdraw from the tri-partate agreement with IWALC and Parish and Town Councils
9. To consider the purchase and laying of a wreath on Remembrance Sunday
10. To consider the request received for the installation of a larger dog bin at the start of Medham Lane (Paper D)
11. To note the outcome of the Medham Lane meeting (Paper E)

i. To receive the interim budget statement to end of October 2009 and the bank reconciliation with Statement No (Paper F)
ii. To authorise payment of the following cheques:

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.
