You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning Committee, to be held at WI Hall, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 15 September 2009 commencing at 7.45 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below.
Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

AGENDA
1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 18 August 2008 (Paper A – which were circulated and approved at the meeting of the Parish Council on 1 September 2009)
4. Town and Country Planning
a. To consider the following application received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at http://www.iwight.com/council/departments/planning/appsdip/MakingCommentsInfo.aspx
i. TCP/29813 land opposite 5, The Ridge, Medham, Cowes, Isle of Wight PO31 8QN – Detached timber garage/storage shed with a slate roof
ii. TCP/24497/C land adjacent 127 Wyatts Lane, Northwood, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8PU – Proposed detached dwelling with parking; vehicular access
b. To note the decision taken by the Local Planning Authority since the last meeting for TCP/19392/B 66 Pallance Road, Northwood – Conditional planning approval for the proposed dormer window to front elevation; addition of two velux roof lights to east and west elevations.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.
The total time allowed for questions/representations by members of the public will not exceed ten minutes for any given item
It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
