Dear Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning Committee, to be held at WI Hall, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 20 October 2009 commencing at 7.45 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below. 

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

AGENDA

1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 15 September 2009 (Paper A   – which were circulated and approved at the meeting of the Parish Council on 6 October 2009)
4. Town and Country Planning
a. To consider the following application received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for         material planning considerations listed at         http://www.iwight.com/council/departments/planning/appsdip/MakingCommentsInfo.aspx

i. TCP/26015/C 45 Green Lane, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 8QG – Proposed first floor extension over garage to form bedroom en-suite
ii. TCPL/29866/A St John the Baptist Church, Church Lane, Northwood, PO31 – Internal and external repairs to windows and masonry
iii. LBC/29866 St John the Baptist Church, Church Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight, PO31 – Listed Building Consent for internal and external repairs to windows and masonry

iv. LBC/29866/B St John the Baptist Church, Church Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight, PO31 – Listed Building  Consent for conversion of existing outbuilding to provide wc facilities including associated landscaping
 b. Results of the appeal decision of the Planning Inspectorate – Appeal ref APP/P2114/A/09/2104673 Land at 34 Wyatts Lane, Northwood (Paper B)

 

PUBLIC SPEAKING
In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

The total time allowed for questions/representations by members of the public will not exceed ten minutes for any given item

It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
