Dear Councillors

You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of the Planning Committee, to be held at Northwood Primary School Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 19 July 2011 commencing at 6.30 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below.

Members of the public and press are welcome to attend.

1. To receive and approve any apologies for absence.
2. To receive any declarations of Members’ interests in items on the agenda.
3. To confirm and authorise the Chairman to sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 19 April 2011(Paper A – which were circulated and confirmed at the meeting of the Parish Council on 3 May)
4. Town and Country Planning
a. To consider the following application received and make comments in accordance with the guidance for material planning considerations listed at

i. TCP/30625 51 Oxford Street, Northwood, PO31 8PT – Single storey rear extension to form family room
ii. TCP/30626 96 Nodes Road, Northwood, PO31 8AE – Proposed demolition of existing garage, proposed two/single storey side extension to form garage on ground floor with 2 bedrooms over
iii. TCP/07306/E 69 Wyatts Lane, Northwood, PO31 8QA, Demolition of existing garage and stores.  Proposed garage and store.

b. To note the decisions taken by the Local Planning Authority since the last meeting of the Planning Committee:
i. TCP/30317/A – 61 Pallance Road, Northwood – Conditional Planning Permission for the demolition of dwelling, proposed detached dwelling
ii. TCP/30564 – 2 Horseshoe Close, Northwood – Conditional Planning Permission for a single storey extension on front/side elevation to provide additional living accommodation and lobby



In accordance with Standing Order 27, any member of the public wishing to speak on an item on the agenda may speak at a Council meeting at the start of the agenda item for a period not exceeding 3 minutes.
When a ‘Group’ of members of the public wish to speak on an item, they will, subject to the Chairman’s discretion be required to nominate a representative who may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes.

The total time allowed for questions/representations by members of the public will not exceed ten minutes for any given item

It would assist the smooth running of the meeting if you would advise the clerk prior to the start of the meeting of your wish to speak.
