MUM'S MEMORY DAY
CHARITY ANTIQUES FAIR – MOTOR NEURONE DISEASE (MND)
Now in its sixth year, this event is an essential part of the IOW Antiques Calendar and an important fund-raiser for the local branch of the MND Association.
Two local members of the branch committee – Doreen Gant and Jennie Lewis – lost their beloved mother to this disease in March 2002. For the last six years they have organised a fund-raising Antiques and Collectors fair in her memory and this year 'Mum's Memory Day' is on Sunday 11th October 2009.
All the proceeds from the door takings will go to the IOW branch of MND to help the local people on the IOW who currently have MND.
Other members of the MND Committee will be there too with their usual range of gifts and Christmas Cards – again monies raised will go to Isle of Wight MND branch.
Like to know the value of something? Island Auction Rooms will be on hand between 10.30am – 12.30pm and for a donation to MND will value your item.
Venue – Northwood House, Ward Avenue, West Cowes, Isle of Wight.
Sunday 11th October 2009 from 10.30am – 3.00pm.
Entrance Fee – £1.50 per person with accompanied children free.
Snacks and refreshments will be available to purchase.
