COWES AMATEUR OPERATIC AND DRAMATIC SOCIETY

We are in the wild, lusty, warm and humorous Old West of Deadwood City, Dakota Territory, 1876. Our story tells of famed CALAMITY JANE who dresses, rides and shoots like a man, but hankers for the love of a man. The man may be dashing Lt Danny Gilmartin or the justly famed Wild Bill Hickok. A trip to Chicago to collect Adelaide Adams, the glamorous actress to entertain the Deadwood locals does not quite go to plan but the town rally round and at the Fort’s ball, Calam has an evening for all to remember. This classic musical has many famous and enjoyable numbers including "Secret Love", "Black Hills Of Dakota, "Deadwood Stage" and "Windy City".

Performances are Wednesday 27th to Saturday 30th May at 7.30pm and Saturday 30th May at 2.30pm. Tickets are £9 & £8 (under 16s). Box Office open 11am to 2pm daily except Sunday from Friday 15th May. Tel: 01983 295229.

New members are always welcome.
