A BEDFULL OF FOREIGNERS
Spare a thought for Englishman Stanley Parker. He and his wife Brenda are on their first continental holiday in France, trying to rekindle their marriage. On the eve of a local festival, they consider themselves lucky on finding a hotel room.
But with Brenda absent, Stanley finds himself lowering an attractive, naked girl from his room’s window. Confusion turns to chaos with the arrival of Claude Philby, the girl’s husband followed by the arrival of Claude’s girl friend, Simone.
By the second hour, almost everybody is in the wrong bed. Seductions and confrontations run rampant. When the dust settles, a weary and dazed Stanley wishes they had spent their vacation at a nice, quiet English seaside resort.
Dave Freeman’s play is a side-splitting farce that has delighted audiences around the world and is sure to have you rolling in the aisles!
