Jazz at the Apollo

To all Jazz Fans of Newport Jazz Club.

The next concert at the Apollo will be on Sunday afternoon 9th November from 3.00 to 5.30pm.

We welcome the great Alan Barnes, UK’s top Saxophonist/Clarinetist accompanied by Bruce Adams on Trumpet, Nick Millward on Drums, plus our own Mike Whitehead on Bass and Jim Thorn on Piano. The programme is entitled “Tribute to Miles”.

Tickets £10 or £5 students, available from Bill Wills 01983 523879 or Apollo Box Office 01983 527267 (from Wednesday 22nd Oct) or on the door if available. Some fans have already been in contact with me and a dozen tickets have already been allocated so I do suggest that you book early to avoid disappointment – this could be a sell-out.
