Newport Jazz Club is pleased to present Sinead McCabe

with the Cass Caswell Trio

on Sunday 12th July 2015 2015 from 3.00 to 5.30pm.

Back by popular demand, this year Bristol’s Sinead McCabe takes us from the early Bessie Smith blues shouts of the 1920s, through Mahalia Jackson’s Gospel songs to Ella Fitzgerald’s jazz classics, recapturing the best of Dinah Washington and Anita O’Day in the mid 1900s and on to later jazz icons Nina Simone, Diana Krall and many others. Truly something from every jazz period and for every taste!

Backed by this top Jazz trio: John Martin (piano) Eddie John (drums) and Cass Caswell (bass) for sheer entertainment, humour and enjoyment, this concert will be hard to beat.
