TRADING STANDARDS’ SCAM BIN

.

A bright yellow bin is in Northwood Church for anyone to ‘post’ their scam mail into.

.

Many of you who have received a piece of scam mail, may have felt upset or worried about how to respond to it; well Trading Standards wants these letters, so please place all your junk mail into this Scam Bin so it can be dealt with.

.

This bin is the idea of IW Trading Standards set-up IWASP – Isle of Wight Against Scams Partnership in conjunction with Age Friendly Island, Citizens Advice, IW Fire and Rescue Service, Hampshire Constabulary and IW Council.

.

Let’s work together to rid our island of scam mail. So, if you receive a scam letter, PUT IT IN THE BIN!
