NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

On behalf of the Northwood Community Partnership, I hope that you all had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year.

Our Christmas Lunch at the New Holmwood Hotel was enjoyed by all who attended.

We started off the year with our first Residents Event, with a very interesting talk from Tracey from the Isle of Wight Zoo. She explained about the large amount of animals rescued by the Zoo, most of which come from abroad. Also about the work that is being done in Madagascar by the Zoo. Tracey said that they are always looking for helpers at the Zoo and hoped that some of us could go and visit, to see the work being done.

All these Events will be held at the Northwood Village Hall (formerly known as the Northwood W. I. Hall) at 2.30 pm.
