NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

At our last Residents Event, we held a minute’s silence in memory of Mrs Mary Ellis, known as the Spitfire Pilot. She was a remarkable lady and had been to speak to us about her work delivering many planes on her own during the war.
.
We decided to have a change from our regular Events for September and had a very enjoyable visit to the Boat Museum in Cowes. It was very interesting. The Volunteers showed us around and explained about the history of the boats. They made us feel very welcome and gave us tea at the end of our visit.
.
We are still hoping to continue our Monthly Events, but at present we have not been able to obtain funding. Please still come along and enjoy the afternoon with us, we need your help. Try to bring a friend with you.

The next Residents Event is on

 Wednesday 17th October 2018 at 2.30pm in the Northwood Village Hall.

.

Our remaining Residents Events for 2018 is 21st November.

.

All these Events will be held in the Northwood Village Hall at 2.30 pm.

If you need transport to come along to join us, please contact 01983 282242 or 01983 296020.

The next meeting of the Northwood Community Partnership will be held on

Tuesday 16th October 2018 at 7pm in the Travellers Joy, Pallance Road.

If you are interested in things happening in the Village and you could spend approximately 2 hours per month, please come along to our Events or Meetings – you will be very welcome.
