NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

Unfortunately this report has to be collated before our Residents’ Event takes place. Our February event should have had Ray Harrington Vail as our speaker, but at short notice he had to cancel. We were very grateful to our very dear friend and supporter, Alice Cundall, the Rural Health Trainer, who gave us a short talk on the new Cancer Campaign just launched.

We were very pleased to welcome the Rev’d Amanda Collinson, our new Priest-in-Charge at St John the Baptist Church, Northwood. She told us about her past experiences and how she decided to come to the Island.

A report on our March event, where we welcome Mrs Mary Ellis and hear of her life with Spitfires, will be in the next Northwood News.

in the W. I. HALL, NORTHWOOD
