NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

In our last month’s report, we said how very attractive our village has looked this summer. It seems that it caught the eyes of the Judges of the Best Kept Village Association. To our surprise the Chairman of the Parish Council received a letter informing him that Northwood had been awarded a Special Award for their work over the years. This was gratefully accepted at a presentation recently, by the Parish Council Chairman and representatives of the Village Partnership.

At our October Residents’ Event we had a very welcome return visit of “Bo” the Owl and Miranda from the Owl & Monkey Haven. This was enjoyed by everyone.

Our next Residents’ Event will be on
Wednesday 20th November 2013 at 2.30pm
in the W.I. Hall Northwood.

Everyone is very welcome to come and enjoy the afternoon with friendly people.
