NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

As reported in the last issue, the Residents’ Christmas Lunch had not taken place. 32 people attended the lunch on 19th November, at the New Holmwood Hotel and they all had a very enjoyable time. They went away with Christmas presents, cards and a “full tummy”.

Our Vice-Chairman, Alan Chick, gave an interview on Radio Solent recently regarding our events. He successfully obtained a grant to help us continue. Congratulations and thanks Alan.

At our February event, we are having a talk from Mrs Donna Street, from the Isle of Wight Bat Hospital and she will be bringing some bats for us to see.

Our monthly events are still very popular and we look forward to welcoming new residents to our friendly afternoon.

The date of the next event is Wednesday 18th February 2015 at 2.30pm in the W. I. Hall, Northwood.
