NORTHWOOD COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP REPORT

At our October Residents Event, we had a visit from Mr Raymond Allen. He gave us a very entertaining talk on his work as a Script Writer. He told us about some of his famous scripts he has written for “Some Mothers do Have ’em” and “It Ain’t Half Hot Mum”. He had us all laughing and it was very enjoyable. Mr Allen brought back lots of memories.

So that we, hopefully, can continue our monthly Events, we have made an application for some funding. We have to wait and see if we are lucky. We keep trying for funds.

In the next issue of Northwood News, we will list the dates for 2017 Residents Events, so that you can put them on your calendars and in your diaries.

If you have friends who would be interested in joining us for a cup of tea and to make new friends or meet up with old friends, please bring them along. We would be very pleased to see some more new faces at our Events.
