NORTHWOOD PARISH COUNCIL

 

Notes of the Planning Meeting of Northwood Parish Council, held in Northwood Primary School, Wyatts Lane, Northwood, Isle of Wight on Tuesday, 19 July 2016

 

 

Present: Councillors David Jaggar (Chairman) and Malcolm Nicholson

 

 

There were two members of the public present.

 

 

Apologies for absence
Apologies had been received from Cllrs John Nicholson, John Pullen, Chris Riddet and Derek Smith.

 

 

Town and Country Planning
As only two councillors were in attendance, the meeting was inquorate. Subsequently, this debarred any decision to be taken thereon the following planning applications:

 

i. TCP/2459s/B land between 28 and 30 Oxford Street, Northwood – Proposed detached dwelling; formation of vehicular access; parking
The two members of the public who were present, outlined their concerns with regard to the application.

 

 

ii. TCP/32721 10 Horseshoe Close, Northwood – Demolition of garden room; proposed replacement garden room
iii. TCP/32719 Somerton Industrial Park, Newport Road, Cowes – Proposed storage container for Unit 4

 

 

Any representations were required to be submitted to the Local Planning Authority by 5 August. Councillors therefore requested the clerk to arrange a further meeting of the Planning Committee prior to that date, preferably on 1 August.
