Cowes-Deauville Twinning Association

Nine members of the Association travelled directly to Deauville. We met our hosts at the church as usual before being taken to a drinks reception at the local library where a very interesting exhibition was on view. We then returned to our hosts for dinner.

Saturday saw some free time with hosts then a long lazy lunch out at a restaurant en route to the Cheese Festival at Pont Le Vec. Our chairman was invested as a Cheese Chevalier!! Dinner that evening was at a local restaurant.

Sunday saw a coach trip to Fecamp where we had a superb lunch out and a trip to the Fisherman’s Museum. Our last evening was spent with everyone together for a Garden party at one of the hosts, before staying overnight in Caen for the early morning ferry home.
