Is there anyone out there with the skills required to do occasional modifications to the database on which this website runs?

Our hosting company have said they cannot help us with this so we are left unable to keep some features of the website which could do with adjustment, and we simply cannot afford to employ a web development company to help us.

We are looking for someone who could give a small amount of their time to make the occasional adjustments which become necessary from time to time.

The general day-to-day administration of the website is adequately covered, but we need someone who has experience in building and modifying WordPress Templates and who is familiar with PHP files.

.

The database is MySQL, although you rarely have to work in that directly as it is managed in the WordPress interface. The WordPress templates are written in PHP and they generate HTML. The database contents are combined with the ‘look’ and layout of the Northwood templates by the WordPress engine and it outputs HTML which is used at the browser level.

At the moment there are a few items within the website needing attention that are built into the database which Admin cannot access to modify, so we need someone’s help rather urgently.
