Horseshoe Cottage

Hello
.
I have been researching my family tree and discovered your website. I was interested to read the history of Northwood and particularly the 1841 census. You made noteĀ  of some cottages being obscureĀ  i.e. Horseshoe Cottage.
.
This very small house was in the garden at the rear of the HORSESHOE INN and was resident to the Dominey Family at least from 1881, possibly as early as 1861. I visited a number of years ago with my father Charles Dominey and there were only a small trace of the walls remaining. I presume even these will have been cleared by now.
.
I hope this will be of interest to your readers. If you would like any more information do not hesitate in contacting me.
.
Many thanks
.
Howard Dominey
