President Denise Hunter welcomed members to the meeting.

There is to be another Evening Meal for the Dining Out Group. This will be at the Blacksmith’s Arms on the 27th June.

Colleen gave the report on the Annual Council Meeting held at Medina Theatre.
.
Art and Craft afternoons are still going well, these being held on the 3rd Thursday in the month. After the business side our Speaker, Mike Arnell gave such a funny talk on not only Apollo Theatre and Newport Repertory Company (no longer in existence) but also about some of his teaching years at Cowes High School. He had us in fits of laughter.

The competition winners were – for the Best Garden Bloom, Fay Bunday and for the Ginger Biscuits, Caroline Sibley.

The meeting closed just before 4pm.
