MINUTES OF MEMBERS MEETING HELD IN THE W.I. HALL ON 1st OCTOBER 2015
.
In the absence of the Secretary, Anne Jonas, President Fay Bunday took the minutes.
.
PRESIDENT – Mrs Fay Bunday welcomed members to the meeting. Fay then passed the proceedings over to our entertainment for the afternoon, Mr and Mrs Chris Rickards. The programme was entitled “The Scottish Songstress”. It was rather long but well presented.
We then had a break for tea. The raffle was drawn and competition results announced.

COMPETITION RESULTS – Were not recorded in the minutes.

APOLOGIES – Were received from Doreen Gray, Denise Hunter, Joan Furnell, Paddy Hunter, Mary White, Colleen Debenham and Anne Jonas.
.
MINUTES – Of the last meeting were on the table for members to read. Fay Bunday will sign them at the end of the meeting.
.
UPDATE – on Joan Furnell. She is making quite good progress after her stroke. Paddy Hunter is very poorly and trying to cope with the news of her illness.
.
DEEDS OF NORTHWOOD WI HALL – Elisabeth Hamilton gave an update.
.
HEATING – Members were asked not to touch the settings on the radiators as they were set at No. 5. This is the setting the heating engineer said they must be set at.
.
LUNCH & GAMES – The day went well, although not very many attended.
.
ART & CRAFT – Members were reminded that the next one would be on the 15th October.
.
The post, treasurer’s report and hall report were all read out.
.
TABLE TOP SALE – Will be on 24th October.
.
CHRISTMAS FAIR – A reminder was given to the members that this will be on the 21st November.
.
90th BIRTHDAY LUNCH – Will be at The Holmwood Hotel and the menu was read out. Cost is £18.95.
.
With no other business the meeting closed at 4pm.
