The Art & Craft afternoon was very well attended and the next one will be on the 19th November.
.
The Table Top Sale held on the 24th October went off very well and we were supported quite well by the village.
.

.
90th Birthday Lunch is being held at The New Holmwood Hotel on the 26th January which is the date Northwood WI was first formed in 1926.
.
After our break for tea the Annual meeting took place with Joan Finch overseeing the proceedings. The financial statement was read through and as there were no questions this was formally adopted and seconded. Both the Secretary and President gave their Annual Statements.
.
The voting then took place for the committee and as the present committee were willing to stand, with the exception of Colleen Debenham, they were voted en bloc. Anne Jonas asked for some help doing the Secretarial work as there is rather a lot to do but no one came forward. Voting for President took place and Fay Bunday was returned as the president.
.
Competition results:
Pretty Tea Cloth – 1st Josie White and joint second – Fay Bunday, Pauline Pledge and Elisabeth Hamilton.
The Best Garden Bloom was won by Elisabeth Hamilton.
.
With no other business the meeting closed at 3.45pm.
