Here is the report for March from Northwood W.I.

President Anne Jonas welcomed members to the March meeting on a cold, wet and misty afternoon.

Our speaker was Dr Ian Whitewright giving a talk on the Solent Seabed. It was about the various shipwrecks that occurred around the Island and how they were able to name and date the ships and what cargo they were carrying.

The competitions winners were:

Joan Furnell (for A Pretty Seashell)

and

Elisabeth Hamilton (for Best Garden Bloom).
