President Anne Jonas welcomed members and three visitors to the meeting.

Several birthday cards were given out with a special one being sent to a member who is 90 years old.

Our speaker was Chris Russell, a very talented writer who has written several books, amongst them the TV mysteries, Midsomer Murders.

The VOT was given by Sheila Chaplow.
.
Competitions results – 4 pieces of Coconut Ice – Elisabeth Hamilton and Best Garden Bloom – Denise Williams.

On Tuesday the 10th September, one of our members Jacquie Pearce gave a very interesting talk on the History of Northwood. We were quite well supported from Village Residents and our own members.
