Northwood W.I. Report

President Elisabeth Hamilton welcomed members, our W.I. Advisor Joan Finch and a visitor Margaret Ashness to the meeting.
Tickets were given to the members who are going to see The Calendar Girls at the Mayflower Theatre.
Names were again taken for the Christmas Lunch at The Boundary Restaurant on 9th December and arrangements were made for the Christmas Fair on 27th November.
Joan Hall read through the programme for next year and we have some very interesting speakers as well as Lunch & Games, Fairs, Outings etc.
The Charity for next year will be Friends of Cowes Medical Centre.
After a break for tea came the Annual Meeting part. Several members put their names forward for committee including some new members.
Fay Bunday gave the yearly Financial Report and Eileen Flux gave the Committee Annual Report.
Elisabeth Hamilton was voted in again as President for 2011.
Competitions results – 4 Gingerbread persons – Edwina Abrook and Best Garden Bloom – Valerie Woodmore.
The meeting closed shortly before 4pm.
