In garish scenes to rhythmic sounds,
the gaudy figures twist and whirl,
a blatant lack of taste abounds,
and vortices of evil swirl.
Fair Beauty poses viciously,
a soulless form, of lewdness born;
while Art feigned meretriciously,
degraded, warrants artists’ scorn.
With vulgar song and brazen eyes,
those graceless females would amuse,
their guile the censor’s law defies,
their acts both eye and mind abuse.
Half clad, in wantonness they play,
in prurience a throng to claim;
bold syrens of our modern day,
besmirching entertainment’s name.
