to draw one’s eye to atlas, keen
for clue to fact or fiction: the
misnomer ‘Guardian Angel’ whets
imagination like an isle
from Stevenson or Dan Defoe.
Iguana, bats, and pelicans,
with snakes await the visitor –
and (major magnet) un-mined gold.
