Ethereal bird, in rapture raising
hosannas sweet, hosannas long;
extemporaneously phrasing
melodic benisons in song.
Enthralled anew, I stand apart,
to scan the skies where you, awing,
can cancel cares which mute my heart –
a heart, rejoiced, that needs must sing.
