“who vows that he can heal the blind,
and also raise the dead.”
“He further claims that once interred
for three whole days – yes, three!
Tho’ dead he left the tomb alive,
to conquer Calvary.”
“Oh, just one more illusionist!”
Ten blasé millions leapt,
to switch their sets to Pop and Sport;
and Jesus, hearing, wept.
